Designed to help you locate belongings such as keys, a wallet, bags, etc that can be attached to the device. The PING or ALARM ON feature is useful for finding misplaced items around your house, workplace, or public spaces.
Intended for short to medium range use, with an approximate range of up to 30 meters, depending on the surrounding environment. Its main purpose is to help locate nearby misplaced belongings using the PING or ALARM ON feature.
For a full battery charge, please charge the device for approximately 60 minutes. When fully charged, the battery can last for approximately 8 hours, depending on usage (a bright red light, visible through the hard case, indicates that the device is charging correctly).
When pairing the device, wait until the status in the app changes from “Searching...” to “Nearby”, “Far”, “Very Far” (distance status). This indicates that the device has been successfully paired and connected.
PING (Manually make the device sound from the app) | ALARM ON (Automatically makes the device sound when it connects) | ALARM OFF (Turns off the automatic alarm function) | POWER SAVE (Reduces battery usage when the device is not in use).
If the device has difficulty reconnecting after approximately 1 minute and 20 seconds, close the DYFS app and reopen it. Alternatively, hold the “Searching...” text status (yes the text has a special feature) until it changes to “Nearby”, “Far”, “Very Far” (distance status).
The app saves the device's last known location when the connection is lost.
